My interest in art has always been evident. Even in grade school one of my favorite subjects was art but I never took the time to develop my talent. So, after years of raising a family and using sewing, quilting and embroidery as my creative outlets I decided to try my hand at painting, first in watercolor and gouache and later in acrylics and oils. I have studied under Barbara McFarland, Margie Whittington, Maureen Brouillette, Darnell Jones, Jessica Neary, Ken Hosmer, Judi Betts and Gloria Coker.

In addition to my paintings, I also design jewelry and lovely little jewelry bags. I have sold several paintings to individuals, but most of my paintings seem to end up hanging in our home or our children's homes. Robin or the kids always seem to want them before I can put them anywhere to sell.

My husband and I also have a small art business together. Robin designs and makes unique pop art mirrors out of soda pop cans. He also designs and makes furniture pieces. You can view Robin's work at DaydreamDezigns.com.
